Overview — What is Trezor® Suite App?
The Trezor® Suite App is the official desktop application for interacting with your Trezor® hardware wallet. It acts as the secure UI for sending/receiving crypto, managing accounts, installing firmware, and connecting with decentralized apps. Use trezor.io/start to get the latest downloads and official guides.
Download & Install
Visit trezor.io/start (always confirm the URL) to download the Trezor® Suite App for Windows, macOS, or Linux. If your computer requires a bridge to communicate with the device, the site will prompt you to install Trezor® Bridge and provide a direct Trezor Bridge Download link.
Login & Connection
To log in, open Trezor® Suite and connect your Trezor® hardware wallet via USB or supported USB-C cable. Follow on-device prompts to unlock with your PIN. If the Suite cannot detect your device, ensure Trezor® Bridge is installed and running, the cable/data pins are intact, and the device screen is unlocked.
Troubleshooting common login issues
- Check cable and USB port — swap ports and cables.
- Install or reinstall Trezor® Bridge and restart your machine.
- Allow browser/OS permissions for USB access if using web-based flows.
- Update the Trezor® Suite App and firmware when prompted.
- If prompted with "Can't verify Trezor Wallet" or "Error connecting Trezor account", restart Suite and try a different USB port or machine.
Recovery & Account Help
If you lose access to your device, use your recovery seed with a compatible hardware wallet to restore accounts. Trezor® does not store your seed; the recovery procedure is local and must be performed carefully. For lost PINs, the only recovery method is wiping the device and restoring from seed. For account-level 2FA resets (Trezor 2fa reset), contact the service tied to your 2FA — Trezor® itself does not host 2FA for third-party services.
Error messages & "Unable to login Trezor"
Common errors include "Trezor Suite App not working", "Unable to login Trezor", and connectivity errors. First-line actions: reinstall Bridge, update OS, try the device on a different computer. If you see firmware mismatch warnings, follow on-screen steps to update firmware via Trezor® Suite. Preserve your recovery seed before proceeding with risky operations.
